Another update from Nurse Mittica:
Health Fair April 10, take advantage of this opportunity to update vaccinations. Enrollment code IN65942
Measles is not a seasonal virus. However, measles is often spread over times of high travel or in situations where unvaccinated persons are in close quarters.
The best way to protect against measles is to get the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine. Children may get the measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV) vaccine instead, which protects against chickenpox too.
Most people who are vaccinated with MMR & MMRV will be protected for life. Please visit CDC (Centers for Disease Control) for additional information.

We enjoyed the part of Charlotte's Web where they went to the county fair so much! Yesterday we had a pie eating contest and also got to see some really cool Ferris wheels made by some 5th graders! Congrats to Mr. Williams on the win!

Last week our kitchen staff helped bring the county fair to life with a fair themed lunch! This was the day after our Charlotte's Web reading took us to the fair. One School One Book is truly all about the school as a whole!

Yesterday, PES students were able to enjoy a petting zoo as we finished up Charlotte's Web! More exciting activities coming up today and tomorrow!
