Families will rotate through a variety of stations with different games. There are a few stations that have information for parents. Each student will be given 10 tickets to enter prize drawings. They can use all their tickets towards one prize choice or spread across several. You will have the choice of what stations you want to visit.
We'll have pizza and popcorn. All family members are welcome to come whether they are in school or not.
Every child even non-school aged ones will get free books too!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor (BGCNIC) is excited to share that we will be opening a new Club site at Pioneer Elementary School. We are honored to partner with the Pioneer School Corporation to provide a safe and engaging space for your children after school.
The Pioneer Club will be open to K-12 students and operate Monday through Friday from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m., following the Pioneer School Corporation calendar. We will be open whenever school is in session and closed when school is closed. Families are welcome to pick up their children at any time before 6:00 p.m.

Vision is important to your child’s ability to learn and progress at school. Indiana state law requires schools to screen students in grades first, third, fifth, and eighth. Vision screening will take place on August 20 at PHS and PES. Vision screening is a very simple procedure and will take only a few minutes. If you do not want your child to participate in a vision screening, please contact the school nurse. No report will be sent home if your child passes the vision screening. If the screening results indicate your child may have a vision problem, the results will be shared with you.
