Seeking Better Student-Athlete Healthcare, PSM Will Not Conduct Physicals at Pioneer in 2026. Please read message below from PSM:

Dear Parent(s) or Guardian(s):

As many of you know, in order to participate in extracurricular sports and activities during the school year, student-athletes must have a signed IHSAA pre-participation examination after April 1. Parkview Health prides itself in excellent care for their patients and in an effort to provide young athletes across the region with a higher level of care and quality in physical evaluations, there will no longer be opportunities to receive a sports physical at Pioneer Jr-Sr High School this spring for the 2026-27 school year.

Students are able to schedule with their primary care providers to complete their sport physicals. If a student does not have a primary care provider, they can do one of the following:

Call Logansport Hospital at (574) 722-4921 to schedule with a Pediatric or Family Practice Provider in Logansport. Phone Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

Call Parkview Logansport Peru Medical Center at (765) 472-2812 to schedule with a Pediatric or Family Practice Provider in Peru. Phone Hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, and Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.

Go to our Parkview Logansport Walk-in Clinic (formally known as Express Medical Center) and pay $50 for your school physical. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm, and Saturday-Sunday 8:00am-2:00pm.
