Mrs. Armick just wrapped up her health unit in PE classes. She taught the following units:
6th: Respiratory System
5th: Cardiovascular/Circulatory System
4th: Muscular System
3rd: Skeletal System
2nd: Digestive System
1st: 5 Food Groups
Kindergarten: Healthy vs. Unhealthy Foods

The final day was learning about CPR & AEDs with the help of Nurse Mittica and Mr. Mittica. What a great experience for PES students!

We have a Scholastic Book fair coming up 2/26 - 3/04. It is a different schedule than normal.

Feb 26 and 27 (Thurs and Fri), teachers can sign up to bring their kids down to make wish lists. Then on Mond-Wed the following week, students will come down during art specials to purchase books.

Family Night is Tues., March 3rd from 3-6 PM.
Book fair ends on Wed., March 4th.

Breaking news from Mrs. Hildebrand:

Just recently Stetson Farrer gained the status of the first ever 1000 Club in our Little Panther classroom. Mrs. Moon was SO encouraging in this process. She listened patiently and encouraged Stetson to count in increments of 100s. This was definitely a process! I am SO fortunate to have an assistant that is engaged with the learning stages of our pre-k students and accents on their strengths and interests. We marched Stetson around the school in celebration of his accomplishment!!!
