Will be serving FREE summer meals using the SFSP Rural Non-Congregate Option.
This means meals are to be consumed off-site using the parent pick-up method.
These meals will be 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches WEEKLY for any child 18 years and younger.
Heating instructions and meal storage and preparation will be conveyed to households.
In order to maintain program integrity, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
Parents must have signed up their students for the summer meals via the signup document sent to all households.
We will be using that signup sheet to know how many meals to make for pickups. Meals will be checked off as received at the same time as pickup.
Only children 18 years old age and younger that signed up are eligible.
5 breakfast and 5 lunches will b e given to each eligible child WEEKLY and is available only on MONDAYS FROM 10:30-12 noon @ Pioneer Jr/Sr High School Enter door #1 where meals can be picked up.
Parents/Guardians are not allowed to pick up meals from other school locations for the same child on the same day.
• The program starts on June 2 (pickup from 10:30-12 noon)
• Then again every Monday in JUNE
• June 9th
• June 16th
• June 23rd
• June 30th
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in meals not being able to be picked up moving forward.

PES talent show will be May 9th in the afternoon during the school day.

4-H extension educator Claire Crum, in partnership with the Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom Grant, came to Miss Peppers's class to teach the students all about the digestive system of cattle. This lesson went along with their reading curriculum. The students were able to make a poster that will be displayed during the Cass County 4-H Fair.
