Students in Miss Brown's 3rd grade reading lab had a special visit from the staff at United Way of Cass County today! While reading Crenshaw, they have learned about some of the tough decisions many families face when under financial stress. Today they got to experience some of the decisions themselves through an ALICE (Assest Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) simulation.
